Professional Summary
I am an outrospective professional in socio-economic research, development outreach and communication affairs, especially on development policy influencing, capacity analysis and praxis consulting. My professional aspires are to engage with the emerging development challenges, to perform with deeper insights and mindset to search for innovative solutions. Linking development theory into praxis is my white-collar empathy and consciousness.
I hold academic schoolings in development studies and have practical experiences of around fifteen years on multi-development concerns. Over the years, I am mainly trained in gripping the community interests, institutional settings, and politics that altogether impact local livelihood & social relations in developing countries. I am endured with global commodity value chain projects, commissioned by UN/INGOs to promote environment-friendly value chain aspects, fostering SDG-12 i.e. Sustainable Consumption and Production initiatives at the small-and-medium-scaled enterprises (SME). I am also experienced in engaging government, parliamentarians and civil society organisations to uphold public policies to strengthen democratic institutions and practices. I am further specialised in Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights flexibilities on generic pharmaceutical productions that affect generic medicines' access and affordability to poor communities under WTO protection epoch.
In a nutshell, all my previous engagements focused on project management, policy research, commodity value chain facilitation, eLearning management, advocacy, MDG-SDG campaigning, communication consulting etc. I am accustomed to developing various communication and advocacy publications and IECs - such as, audio-visual documentaries, facilitation manuals, communication strategy documents, advocacy toolkits, guidebooks and knowledge management materials, capitalisation of project learnings, best practice and documentation. These were published by respective national-international publishers and agencies, either paper-binding and digital publications, plus posted to respective organisation websites, peer networks and magazines.
My constant research focus is on - development conscientisation, dimensions and hierarchies in social exclusion patterns in developing countries, NGO and social entrepreneurship development praxis, environmentally responsible business practices, intellectual property governance, commodity value chain facilitation, sustainable consumption and production (SCP) by the green SMEs, e-Learning management, communication with communities (CwC) in disaster management, etc.
I attended a number of workshops, seminars, webinars and conferences held nationally and across continents (Europe, Africa, Asia) on multi-developmental issues.
